# Tribes

_Note: The RenFaire Tribe is non-canon. There are rumors that Gen 2 Persona will include a new Jock/Bully Tribe._

The six Tribes maintain separate genetic pools, and their members often congregate in specific neighborhoods of Hive City with their own unique character. Feel free to visit them all and experience what they have to offer! Many of the Tribes also have facilities for travel outside of Hive City, which you can take advantage of with the approval of your Collector.

## Afrofuturist

_Also known as:_ Cyberpunk

_Strengths:_ Technology, including computing, nanotech, and super-science

_Districts:_ Start your journey in NNW*, where traditional cultures blend seamlessly with modern high-tech wonders. Attend a lecture in the Quadrivium (“the Quad”), where Hive City’s finest scientists and professors live and work. And round out your trip in the Sprawl, famous for its late-night party scene!

*The Central Legal Team asks us to remind you that NNW gets its name because it is obviously in the north-northwest part of Hive City and is definitely not a recursive acronym for “NNW’s Not Wakanda”, and that Personas must always respect registered trademarks.

_Travel:_ The Transmatter Terminal offers nearly instantaneous and nearly 100% reliable transportation of people, packages, and cargo, charged by weight.

## Ecologically Hyperaware

_Also known as:_ Eco Hippy Elves (Note: Tribe members are genetically human.)

_Strengths:_ Nature, spiritual and healing magic, stealth

_Districts:_ Located right by several Central facilities, Central Park is an oasis of green in the middle of Hive City, surrounded by charming little shops and homes. To get some more magic in your life, be sure to wander through the Havens. And located right outside the city borders, Freehold is an unofficial camp and bazaar for the open-minded.

_Travel:_ No official facilities, but if you don’t mind roughing it, Rangers can be easily hired to escort you on overland expeditions.

## Kindred Population

_Also known as:_ K-Pop

_Strengths:_ Entertainment (music, film, gaming, sports), business, martial arts

_Districts:_ Business is serious business Downstage, so if you need anything from a Producer to a Publicist to a Hair Stylist, you can find them here. Later, if you want to catch a concert, a movie, or a match, then Upstage is the place to be. And finally, as the saying goes, “What happens Offstage, stays Offstage…”

_Travel:_ Regularly-scheduled bullet trains provide quick and efficient connections to neighboring cities.

## NeoVictorian

_Also known as:_ Steampunk

_Strengths:_ Crafting and manufacturing, mechanisms and machinery, firearms

_Districts:_ If you’re looking for a special Crafted item, look no farther than the artisans lining the Windup streets. Factories abound in Mainspring, and you can find some great deals in the associated outlet shops, although bring a mask for the soot. And to relax, head to Spindown, although be sure to start your steam masseuse on the lowest speed at first.

_Travel:_ For a leisurely, luxurious, and scenic experience, just head to the airship mooring dock to check for available flights.

## Renewed Fairytale

_Also known as:_ RenFaire, NeoElizabethan

_Strengths:_ Classical magic, melee combat, archery

_Districts:_ Hive City’s most renowned wizards, witches, and sorcerers gather in Wandshire, and the result is literally something magical. Romance and chivalry abound in Maidenshire, so be sure to be on your best courtly behavior. Things get a little more rough-and-tumble in Swordshire, but if you’re looking for a bodyguard or a fencing tutor, there’s no better place.

_Travel:_ Experience the beautiful countryside from the comfort of a horse-drawn carriage, with armed guards provided at no extra charge.

## Vampire

_Also known as:_ Goth (Note: Tribe members are genetically human.)

_Strengths:_ Occult magic, regeneration, medicine, BLOOD use

_Districts:_ If you’re feeling under the weather, Dayside has many excellent clinics to get you back on your feet. Nightside bars are a great way to spend the evening, though be sure you know what kind of drink you’re ordering. And if you can’t find it in Underside, it probably doesn’t exist: the buildings on the surface streets are only half of the story here.

_Travel:_ No official facilities, but guides may be hired to show you certain doorways which may be traversed with certain rituals at the proper time. You may also hear references to a Betanet Bridge located in Underside, but this passageway has been sealed by Central Edict.
